The Melcher family began farming filberts (hazelnuts) in 1957 and was continued by the second-generation farmer, Dennis. Along with farming, he and his wife started a value-added business, Ken & June’s Hazelnuts, (named after Dennis’ parents), and now includes their three daughters who have successfully taken the reins and expanded the family business. Our hazelnut products includes roasted, salted, and candy-coated as well as hazelnut butter and fruit jams. We also grow and sell peaches. Come and experience the aroma of freshly-picked peaches, season is typically late July-Aug. No U-pick available. Stop by to enjoy our farm scenery and quaint farm store with fresh hazelnut products.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass favor.
